Raon Hosted Access Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Raon.

Background: Raon is designed to support Korean and English language capabilities (via text and speech encoder), uses the OpenAI Chat Completions message format, and is intended for several different applications, including coding assistance, content creation, work productivity, research and analysis, and the deployment of AI agents that are capable of performing extended, multi-step tasks.

Hugging Face Repository. The Raon model and model weights that are available for download through our Hugging Face repository at https://huggingface.co/KRAFTON/Raon-1-mini-preview are licensed under Apache License, Version 2.0. You may exercise the rights granted under that license with respect to those downloaded materials. The Apache license does not govern our separately hosted API or playground. We offer access to the hosted API and playground for Raon (the “Raon Service”) under the terms below.

Acceptance of these Terms. You accept and agree to be bound by these Hosted Access Terms and Conditions (“terms”) when you click “Accept” or a similar button, agree to these terms by email, register for or obtain an API key to access the Raon Service, or otherwise access or use the Raon Service. If you do not accept these terms, you may not access or use the Raon Service.

1. Beta License.

Subject to these terms, Krafton grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the Raon Service solely for evaluation and development that occurs during the beta program. The beta program will continue until Krafton announces its conclusion or otherwise terminates the program.

2. Ownership and Apache Rights.

Krafton and its licensors retain all rights in the Raon Service, server-side software, infrastructure, training methods, and other related proprietary technology. The downloadable version of the model and weights for Raon that is made available on Hugging Face is separately licensed under Apache 2.0.

3. Access Credentials; Usage Limits.

Access to the Raon Service requires credentials issued by Krafton, such as API keys. You must keep your credentials confidential, may not share them with any third party, and are responsible for all activity occurring under them. Krafton may impose, and modify at any time, rate limits, quotas, usage caps, eligibility requirements, and other technical or usage restrictions on access to the Raon Service. Krafton may monitor use of the Raon Service for security, abuse prevention, and compliance with these terms, and may suspend, throttle, or restrict your access to the Raon Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without liability, including if Krafton reasonably believes you have violated these terms or that your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk. Krafton may modify, update, replace, or discontinue any version of Raon or any feature of the Raon Service at any time.

4. Use Restrictions and Compliance.

You may not misuse the Raon Service, attempt to obtain nonpublic technology through the service, circumvent access controls, or use the Raon Service or outputs from the Raon Service to train a competing model. You must comply with all laws applicable to your access to and use of the Raon Service, including export-control and economic-sanctions laws, and may not use the Raon Service in prohibited dealings with sanctioned persons or jurisdictions.

5. Inputs and Outputs.

As between you and Krafton, you retain your rights in inputs to the Raon Service and, to the extent legally protectable, your outputs. You grant Krafton a limited right to process inputs and outputs to provide, secure, and operate the Raon Service.

6. Free Beta.

Krafton makes the Raon Service available free of charge during the beta program. Krafton reserves the right to charge fees for, or introduce commercial licensing terms governing, access to or use of the Raon Service after the beta program ends, or for usage exceeding limits established by Krafton, and will provide notice of any such fees or terms before they take effect.

7. Feedback License.

If you provide Krafton with suggestions, evaluations, comments, or other feedback concerning the Raon Service (“Feedback”), you grant Krafton a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), royalty-free right and license throughout the universe to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and otherwise exploit that Feedback for any purpose without restriction or compensation. Feedback does not include your prompts, outputs, or other data unless you expressly submit them as Feedback.

8. Assumption of Risk.

In consideration of the free access granted during the beta program and the rights granted under these terms, you expressly acknowledge that the Raon Service may contain defects, errors, or other limitations, may be unavailable or interrupted, and expressly accept and assume all risks and liabilities arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Raon Service, including any claims by third parties, any reliance on the outputs, and any actions or omissions of AI agents. You are solely responsible for determining whether and how to use the Raon Service and for implementing appropriate data security, human oversight, and verification procedures.

9. Disclaimer; Liability.

The Raon Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including without any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krafton and its licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and its and their total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Raon Service and these terms will not exceed US$100. You acknowledge that the Raon Service is provided free of charge during the beta program and that the allocation of risk and limitations of liability in this Section are fundamental elements of the basis on which Krafton makes the Raon Service available.

10. User Indemnification.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Krafton, its affiliates and licensors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your access to or use of the Raon Service, including your outputs and actions performed by your AI agents; (b) your applications, products, or services created in whole or in part using the Raon Service or incorporating or accessing the Raon Service; (c) any use of your access credentials for the Raon Service; or (d) your violation of these terms or applicable law.

11. Termination Rights.

These terms become effective when you first accept them in accordance with the acceptance provision above and continue until terminated. Krafton may terminate these terms, terminate or suspend your access to the Raon Service, or discontinue the beta program or the Raon Service at any time, with or without cause, by sending notice to the email address you provided to Krafton or by posting a notice through the Raon Service. Termination will take effect upon delivery or posting of the notice, unless a later effective date is specified in the notice. You may terminate these terms at any time by ceasing all use of the Raon Service. No additional notice by you is required to terminate these terms. Upon termination of these terms for any reason, your right to access and use the Raon Service immediately ends, and Krafton may disable your access credentials and restrict your access to the Raon Service without further notice. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature are intended to survive, including those relating to intellectual property rights, restrictions on use, disclaimers of warranties, limitations of liability, user indemnification obligations, and dispute resolution, will survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Courts.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Raon Service. Each party irrevocably submits to that jurisdiction and waives any objection to venue or forum, except that either party may seek interim or injunctive relief from any court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Amendment, Entire Agreement.

Krafton may amend these terms by publishing an updated version through the Raon Service, with amendments applying prospectively to your continued use of the Raon Service following publication. You may not assign these terms or any rights under them without Krafton’s prior written consent, and any attempted assignment without such consent is void. Krafton may assign these terms without your consent. Nothing in these terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or similar relationship between the parties or gives rise to any fiduciary duties or obligations between them. These terms confer no rights or remedies on third parties. If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties concerning the Raon Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings concerning its subject matter, whether written or oral. The Apache License governs the downloadable version of the model and weights for Raon that is made available on Hugging Face. These terms control with respect to the Raon Service. No rights are granted in or to the Raon Service by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
