The model reasons before it answers. Each API returns that reasoning in its own field, apart from the answer; see Reasoning to read it and set an appropriate output limit.
The model reads text only. Send the content of a document as text; it does not understand images or files sent in a request.
Listing models
GET /v1/models returns the models your key can call. Each entry carries its context window and price; Tokens and usage explains how requests are counted and billed.
